- Ultimate Warrior Review added: 2018.11.25★ ★ ★ ★ ★We can't recommend the Longhouse and the Mill on the Brue enough. It is such a wonderful venue, and such a lovely setting that we simply had to get married there.
From our first meeting with Matt we have felt nothing but supported and welcomed by the venue and the team, and we were very much guided through the process of planning a wedding.
With regular meetings and discussions with Matt and the team about possibilities, we ended up with the wedding that we really wanted. Weather permitting for an outdoor ceremony in April, we wanted rounders, touch rugby and a hog roast... we got rounders, touch rugby and a hog roast! It really was the perfect day.
An absolute God send was Danica the wedding coordinator, who managed the entire event from start to finish and made sure that people were where they were meant to be, that the band set up on time, even making sure that the cheese board was out. Danica were truly exceptional and we cannot recommend her enough.
All in all, 10/10 and top marks for an excellent venue, excellent support staff, excellent Danica and excellent Matt.
Thank you guys, we had a blast and so did our guests.
